How to Fix .OST Error Detected in Exchange/OutlooK Profile

Exchange .ost file is created when Outlook is used in conjunction of Microsoft Exchange Server. Generally users are using OST file to work offline when Exchange Server is down.   • Exit Microsoft Outlook

  • This Windows will appear if Outlook application is running.

  • If the tool prompts for 'Profile name', 'Work Offline' or 'Connect', click on 'Connect'.
  • Select 'Scan all folders' option

  • choose 'Repair Errors' check box and hit the 'Begin Scan' tab.
